One thing with these older boats. The builders used the mostly the same manufacturer for a lot of the hardware. I look for almost a year on line for my rudder parts. I just like Bacon because they are located in Annapolis the sail boat center of the world (my opinion) Edison hardware is second to none. I plan on Purchase the shaft coupler from them. It will cost $350 I believe. Any way good luck. If you live close to Annapolis or have friends near by you could stay with overnight you might to pay Bacon a visit. When I was there they several rudder head fittings?

No Ted I did not. A couple fellas in the group made offers about old inventory for sale but alas I have never heard back from them! I think Edson sells a pretty close match. I need the head rotate up as much possible.?
