When this group moved from Yahoo groups, it was set up so that everyone's first post is moderated - checked to see if it's a real message (not spam), mostly. The moderators get an email when someone new posts. In the best case, a first-time poster's message can take a few minutes to post. If the moderators are not checking their email, it could take much longer.

Once someone has had their first message approved, they are no longer automatically moderated.
