Where to go for parts!
We rescued an old sunfish that was lost in a garage for years and we are now bringing it back to life!? Preliminary inventory shows that an inspection port on the rear deck between the tiller and cockpit is missing its cover and the daggerboard is missing its clip.? That's all I see for now.? But where can I go to get replacements?? Unsure about the integrity of the sail and ropes, will be checking those out later this week. Any help is much appreciated! |
I have found that a lot of places the last few years have had trouble stocking parts. The only place I have had consistent luck with parts is sunfishdirect.com?

Exactly, the wooden daggerboards have two wooden pieces at the top, one on each side. They are the same no matter the shape of the board.?

I think if there was more interest in dinghy sailing, there would be more parts and more dealers and a robust manufacturer. I am amazed there is a new parts source at all.? Kent On Wed, Jul 10, 2019 at 8:30 AM 'Mark Kastel' kastel@... [sunfish_sailor] <sunfish_sailor@...> wrote:
