Looking for a motor

I live in the PNW and I’m hunting for a motor to replace the 2002 SOHC in my Vanagon. Anyone have one that is a good runner that they’d like to sell??
 

New 2.5 shortblock is like $2k.? Buy it in OR, no sales tax.? Plug and play.

I have a 09 2.5 w 80K miles with COMPLETE SC Vanagon installation--motor mount, wiring all tagged, intake--bolt in. New heads, T Belt, SS head gaskets with ARP studs, etc. It was removed from my van in favor of an upgrade. Located in CA.

A couple hundred for shipping (and sales tax if your delivery state charges days tax).

I bought my here a few years ago and picked up while in a road trip to OR, no tax no shipping.

Hmm. The Subaru sites say that those part numbers are not appropriate for my 2000 EJ25.

Anybody have the correct part number for that?

That was a generic thing I pulled up on the website. ?At subarupartsdea.com, you put in your vin and it will show the appropriate parts.
