Parting out 13" South Bend s/n 3127TKL10 Los Angeles Area Local Pickup

 

I'm parting out 13" South Bend s/n 3127TKL10 for Los Angeles area local pickup. Bed is 6 foot. Anybody interested, let me know what you want. Parts will be cheap.

Do you happen to know if the hand cranks and graduated dials from the compound and cross slide will work on a Light 10K?

The dials and screws are gone, but no, 13" dials, nuts and screws are considerably larger than 10k dials, nuts and screws.

The lathe I’m parting out was never complete or had tooling. The tail stock, apron, underneath motor drive and some gear box parts are no longer available.?Available now is the head stock with spindle bearings (spindle is 2-1/4 x 8 tpi), the bed (6 foot, some scratches but no ridge), cabinet leg, tail stock end leg, saddle, cross slide and compound (no screws or dials), and the single tumbler gear box with some gears but the tumbler itself is gone.


However, I did trade a fellow the underneath motor drive and tail stock and got 11/16” collets (2A), the draw tube and the spindle nose so if you have the 13” small hole spindle, I do have the collets (they do NOT have internal threads for stops):

I have an 80 tooth idler gear for a 9 inch and a 3 phase 1/2 hp motor with magnetic starter and? on off switch
 

For the 40 year I had this lathe, never had the motor...

Lathe never had any of the gearing from spindle to lead screw...

Do you have the cone pulley cover? And what are you looking to get for the collets??
