Hi folks, Fully realizing how some feel about WBWL works, I recommend one
that is amazing in both the storytelling, and how it absolutely
does not fit the mold...at all.

May I recommend,

Summary:

Only two people know what happened the night John Potter
became the Boy-Who-Lived: Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter. And
neither of them are talking.

Here harry and his little brother, no twins here, grow up with
James having Sirius and Remus around as supportive uncle figures.

Because of the traumatic event though, for a while, harry does
not talk, still has problems when he gets stressed.
What makes this work well is how, because of the age difference,
harry has a chance to become his own person, with a supportive
over protective family, making friends from all houses...he is in
Cedric's year here. We get better drawn Slytherings, actually
better drawn everyone in that year, Katie bell for example. We
have younger brother in book Harry's year, with book Harry's
situations..or sort of. None of this arrogant evil brother stuff,
no Dursley's at all either..Harry's struggles are different, as
are his successes. Give it a chapter or two, I feel some here
will be quite pleased.
