Senior Principal Investigator

Weintraut & Associates, Inc., seeks a Senior Principal Investigator to join its cultural resource team in the central Indiana office. The qualified candidate must have a M.A., M.S., or (preferred) Ph.D. in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology, have at least five years of experience as a principal investigator in a CRM setting, and meet the qualifications need for listing on the DHPA/IDNR Qualified Professional Roster: Principal Investigator for Historic or Prehistoric Archaeology (Indiana Code 14-21-1 and 312 IAC 21).

Responsibilities include:
? Supervising field directors/crew chiefs leading Phase I surveys;
? Conducting Phase II and Phase III excavations;
? Artifact analysis
? Writing and editing reports
? Conducting QAQC and peer review for reports and other documents;
? Providing leadership/mentoring for junior staff.
