Tallgrass Archaeology, LLC. is seeking to fill an opening for temporary full-time archaeological field technicians for Phase I, II, and III projects. The position will be based out of the Tallgrass Archaeology office in Iowa City, but fieldwork will occur across the state of Iowa. Fieldwork will begin immediately and is expected to continue through the fall.

Pay rate is $18 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience. Paid holidays for all part time staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

·???????? B.A./B.S in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field with prior coursework in archaeology, prehistory, and history.

·???????? Archaeological field school in North America.

·???????? Ability to work all day standing.

·???????? Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
