Project Archaeologist/Principal Investigator - Full Time Permanent


 

ALL PHASES ARCHAEOLOGY (APA) is seeking a SOI-qualified Project Archaeologist/Principal Investigator to join our growing team of cultural resources management experts! APA conducts hundreds of projects every year of all phases most frequently occurring in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and the Florida panhandle. This position entails managing multiple projects and support staff, frequent field research in the states listed above, QA/QC, and report and research design writing. Experience with Section 106 and Historic Preservation regulatory requirements is expected. Applicants must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in either Archaeology or Anthropology and have at least seven (7) years of professional experience with five (5) years of supervisory experience in Cultural Resource Management. Organization, leadership, communication, collaboration, and hard work are key to success in this position. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and ability. This is a full time permanent position to include paid holidays; health and dental insurance; and PTO. Our team has worked on and continues to be involved with very rewarding and challenging archaeological research projects along the Gulf Coast and throughout the southeast.
