Vita May was originally surrendered to Savannah Cat Rescue due to the owner moving and they were unable to take Vita with them. We were told the cat occasionally urinates outside of the box. The new home found that she was urinating outside the box quite often. We had Vita May thoroughly health checked (no UTI, had her declawed paws X-rayed) and the vet feels it is behavioral/anxiety. She was put on medication and it helped immensely! She is doing great on the medicine and will need to continue with the medicine in her new forever home.
Vita needs a quieter home. She would do best with 1 dog. Children over 10 would be ok. She bonds strongly with the main provider. Vita is very shy and will need someone who is patient!
Requirements: A room to quarantine Vita May, ability to give a cat medication is required and within driving distance!
