Scooby is an almost 3 year old, neutered, Savannah Male. He was sold to his only owner as an F2. From pictures we cannot determine if this is fact or not. Scooby is from F1Savannah Cats, a broker, therefore we cannot substantiate the true generation of the cat. We do know that he's a Savannah Cat, generation to be determined.
Scooby is being rehomed due to his owner's chronic illness that requires intermittent hospital trips. This leaves him unable to give Scooby the attention he needs. Like many cats, the stress of this has caused him to urine marking things belonging to his owner, most notably the bed. This was never a problem before his owner's illness and is thought to be due to the strain in his household. Scooby is not up to date with vaccines and will need a medical exam to rule out a medical reason for his inappropriate urination. This is why he is being offered as foster with intent to adopt.
He has not lived with other cats. We do not know how he will do with them. If given a proper acclimation to the household and slow , steady introductions, he will likely do fine with other cats. He has been around dogs and children. He is said to coexist peacefully with a dog he can ignore. He is generally good with children and people of all ages but does not like handsy young children who don't respect his personal space. For this reason we are setting his age range at 8+. Cat savvy children of other ages may be considered.
