Thor is located in the Dallas, Texas area and must go to a home outside of Dallas to an area where Savannahs are allowed to be owned (with a permit as required by the state of Texas)...or to another state with his new home willing to drive.
Thor is 9 years young. He's neutered, healthy, microchipped and has no litter box or dietary issues. He's an F7. We don't know how much he weighs or how tall he is.
Thor is in need of a home that can give him lots of attention, playtime and love. He's shy initially with new people, but warms up quickly.
Thor is very affectionate and will snuggle and sleep with his humans all night long. He's a kitty who loves to lie in your lap while you watch TV. He's very playful, energetic, likes to jump and climb and would benefit from an outdoor, cat-escape-proof enclosure or catio. A new home must be aware Thor may try to run out an open door given the opportunity. Thor is also a talker
Like many cats of all ages, breeds and mixes, Thor does best with routine and stability. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He's worn a harness and leash in the past for time outside.
Thor has never lived with other cats or dogs. We 'may' consider a home with another energetic cat or older kitten as a buddy for Thor, or possibly a home with a laid-back and cat-friendly dog. In either case, long, slow and proper introductions to Thor's new home, people and another pet must be followed for best results.
Thor should be fine with a teen or child older than 10 years of age who is respectful of a cat's personality requirements.
Thor's adoption fee is $200. We will not consider shipping for him.
