Shani is an F3B retired breeder with dark, sultry, exotic looks. She has been spayed for several months but it took some time for her to stop spraying. I am happy to say that she is now spray free as long as there are no other hosers in the house. She is very loving and attentive of humans, but is easily intimidated by aggressive or alpha cats. She will give love nips if she gets overly excited but never to the point of causing pain. She is normally very active but because she has been oppressed by other cats she has spent much of her time hiding in the past. She is now in a room with another easy going feline but what she really needs is a forever home where she will be loved and doted on by her humans. Silver Billy is a retired boy 6 yr old. He broke a front leg earlier this year but is cleared by the vet. Billy will always have a limp but gets around well enough. Retired boy means he is fixed, nice silver leopard spotted guy who likes having his tummy rubbed and will stick all feet up in air funny guy. He also likes to give head butts. Karla is a lovely F6B savannah that is in need of a special home; she is super shy and fearful of people and new situations. She was raised in a home with only one person, and never learned to be social with other people. She is spayed, has had all her shots, has no medical issues, is great with the litterbox. She needs a quiet home to allow her to more easily adjust and bond to her new owner(s). She will tolerate petting as long as she has a ‘safe zone’ where she can hide like the cat tree above. She does not like to be picked up. To be considered as a home for Karla, you must: be within 2-3 hrs driving distance to Northern VA, have no children under 18, have no other pets (or 1 calm cat or dog), have a quiet room for her to stay in for several months while she adjusts, and have LOTS of patience. He is a very sweet boy, He loves going outside on his harness and leash. I am needing to re-home my F1 Female Savannah. She will be 2yrs old in August. She is loving and loyal, and the transition will be hard for her, as she is very attached to me. Follows me around the house everywhere I go. Unfortunately, she is proving to not be a good cat around small children. She is very tolerate when it comes to them picking her up and carrying her around the house, however, when they are wrestling, or crying, she is very upset by the noise and bites them. So a house with older children would be OK. My children are 3, 5, and a soon to be newborn. She is however a typical Savannah cat. High energy, loves to play, she knows how to open cabinets and drawers. She likes to chew on things made of foam, such has pool noodles. So if you have a lot of soft things like that laying around your house, either it needs to be locked away, or she's not the cat for you as she will physically eat it. She will sit for her treats when told to. She will want to sleep with you. She has excellent litter box habits. She has been spayed. At 6 months I was told she had a hole in her heart. She has been to the vet several times over the last year, she is in excellent health. No evidence of any heart problem what so ever. She will come with all her vet records. I posted last year and it did not work out on my part - I didn't feel comfortable letting him go and I still dont but really have no choice but to find a new home for him. Due to extremely difficult circumstances, I am looking for a new home for my F1 Savannah. He's about 8-9 years old and has been a wonderful part of our family for that long. He needs a home without any children or other pets. Unless you have only 1 other cat and that cat is also an older cat of atleast 8 years old, please do not reply. He is very loyal and loving to me (his owner) and 1 of my other cats however I have had other cats around before and he feels very neglected and depressed if not given 100% attention to. He also needs ample indoor space to walk and roam freely. He comes when called, he waits and greets me at the door, he is the first to get up and come over for petting and brushing and love. He purrs upon contact but watch out - his "lovebites" are F1 Savannah lovebites. They are not "gentle" bites, that is just his nature. He gets excited easily when I'm petting him and I have to pay attention to his type of meow (that is like a warning) because again he will give me a "lovebite" that basically means he's too excited. In order to be able to really pet him for a longer period of time, I buy him stuffed animals which he loves and then he can bite those instead. He loves to play with feather toys and jump in the air to catch them. When I let him catch it, he takes it into another room and waits for me to find it. I would prefer someone who has experience with Savannahs but most importantly, I'm looking for a home locally (Los Angeles or Southern California). I want to see how he's doing, how he adjusts and if he adjusts. I want to be sure he is happy. His new family must be willing to stay in touch with me, even if it does work out. After all, 8-9 years is a long time that he's been my family and I'm the only family he knows. I don't want him to feel abandoned. Adoption fee is $500 which is refundable if the arrangement does not work out on his end.
