Thank you everyone for all the inquiries about Zoey, it appears we have found her a home, and if that falls thru there is another good home available... So unless something crazy happens it looks like she will be placed soon!
Again, thanks for all the calls and emails, she is a special girl and someone is going to be very lucky to have her!

Zoey's adoption fee is $100, and Zoey is front claw declawed.
Additionally, the owner would consider shipping at the new home's expense.

I'm afraid I have no other choice but to rehome my cat, Zoey. I live near Seattle, WA and was told she is an F5 Spayed female, 3 years old, though the woman who rehomed her to me never sent me any documentation or vet records.... Shady lady. She is beautiful however, (could have some bengal in there too somewhere?) very lean and strong, and has a strong will.
She is a lovely, smart cat, never any litterbox issues, she can be chatty at times, makes a strange sound almost like a duck quack lol! Hard to describe. Gives headbutts, especially in the morning and loves being petted.... Hates to be picked up though. Loves drinking water from the sink faucet if I let it run for her :)
She loves the neko flies toys.... Especially the krakonfly that is her absolute favorite :)
The one drawback however, and reason for rehoming is that she has made it clear she desires to be an only cat. I have one other cat, and she is very sweet, non-dominant, however Zoey will attack her whenever she sees her. I have tried to work with them for 4+ months now, and am at the end of my rope. I have a small place to begin with, and 2 cats would be just fine....IF they got along. However, these do not. So I try to keep them separated, and Zoey ends up shut in my room most of the time.... My other cat was here first, and has some potty issues sometimes and I am afraid to keep her in my room for fear she will wet the bed. :( So Zoey has to be kept in there... Since she always uses her box perfectly.
Of course she is very unhappy not getting to roam the house, and I just feel it isn't fair to anyone to be keeping her locked in a room.
I'm looking for a forever home for this lovely girl, however she needs to be an only pet. I think she would also do best without young children.
She has been to my vet for a checkup, she looked good and got a clean bill of health, though I have noticed her hips seem sensitive. I don't know if something happened, or if she has arthritis or what... My vet doesn't know either so perhaps someone would have some ideas about that...? She also has pet insurance and I think it is transferrable so I would definitely recommend continuing it just in case she did need any treatments or anything in the future.
Please email me if interested, though I will be careful who I place her with, as she really deserves a special, loving, forever home just for her...
