F4 Female Savannah located near Chicago, IL
Brianna is a beautiful brown spotted F4 Savannah. She is TICA registered. She will be 7 years old in March and weighs 6.5 pounds. She is spayed and as of 1/25/13 is current on all vaccinations and was given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian. She is not declawed. She is an indoor only cat. She is affectionate and playful and full of personality. She loves to play with cat teasers and other toys. She follows me around constantly and does not like to be alone. As much as she likes to play she also loves to cuddle and is content to sleep on my lap or cuddle up under the covers at night. She was raised with an Egyptian Mau cat and a Rottweiler mix dog and we never had any problems. She was always very affectionate to both of them. Sadly our Egyptian Mau had to be put to sleep due to an illness and she has definitely been a little lonely. On several occasions we had to babysit a Yorkie mix for a family member and it only took her a couple of days to get familiar with the visiting dog. She may be shy with strangers at first but usually comes around pretty quickly and then is very friendly. We have an 18 month old son which was a transition for her but for the most part there have not been any problems. She does like to play a little rough and sometimes can get a little carried away with slight hand aggression so we've always been careful with her around the baby. She is a more talkative Savannah and sometimes is not very discerning of what time of day it is, particularly early in the morning or late at night. She really doesn't have any behavioral issues. She has always had impeccable litter box habits. We originally used clumping litter but for the past few years have been using the Cat Genie. We are more than happy to include her cat tree as part of the adoption. It is with a heavy heart that we are trying to find a new home for her but my husband has severe allergies to cats, which we didn't know when we purchased her, and they get worse with every passing year. Our toddler is also showing signs that he is allergic to cats. Our goal is to find the best forever home possible for her where she will be happy and loved. Since going to a new home will be stressful enough, we do not want to ship her. We live near Chicago and would be willing to transport her within a reasonable distance. We are requesting a $200 adoption fee. The following link contains several pictures of her - Please contact me at ginamaria826@... with any questions or inquiries.
