Nadia is a 9 year old F1 spayed female in Ohio.She is a beautiful tan with black spots and stripes. Sadly we must rehome her for two reasons. One, she hates men and my husband has tried everything to gain her trust. She will tolerate him as she did the man in her previous home. She stresses when he is here. My husband has had medical problems and I can’t provide the time she needs. She has been somewhat timid but has been improving daily. She does like our teenage grand children and one of them taught her how to sit.

She has perfect litter box habits with two litter boxes that are cleaned daily.

Her only fault is scratching and she has 3 scratching post but only uses two. Her favorite scratching object is a plastic tote so we keep it under the buffet in the dining room.

If she scratches something she’s not suppose to I tell her no and she quits. I think that may be a game with her because as she does it she looks at me and runs.

She is not a talker like most. She has the tinniest hiss I’ve ever seen in a Savannah. It’s actually funny. Also, she has never attempted to run out the doors.

Her favorite thing to do is getting up on the top of her cat tree and watch everything outside.

Her diet consist of Purina Pro canned and dry. She loves raw shrimp, cooked chicken, tuna, cooked fish, crab meat and salmon.

She does have to be medicated to go the vet and to get inside her carrier.

She needs to be in a home with NO MEN! Boys are ok. She has never been around dogs but her prior home had a cat that would start fights with her.

If you think you are that woman that would love her and give her the home she needs please contact me. I will not ship her so you will have to pick her up. We are in central Ohio and are asking a Rehoming fee of $500.

Maisie is a spayed 5 year old F6 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. She is healthy and is very well trained in the littler box. She would work well with one friendly domestic cat. She is friendly and playful, and has never shown signs of aggression, or spraying on furniture.

Maisie is very energetic and requires much attention and loving care. She is very focused on escaping to the big wide world, and unless you have a controlled outdoor area, such as a cat-patio, you may be very challenged by her zeal for the outdoors. This is Cheetoh, he is 2.5 yrs old and the biggest cuddle bug! He loves to spoon and wrap his arms around you and give eskimo kisses. He’s very trainable, he knows “treat�� and “sit��. He loves being outside and hunting bugs and also he likes water and will take a shower with you if you let him. His fave spot to be scratched is his chin. He does have his claws but he is gentle and will pet your hand gently to remind you to keep petting him when you stop. He is very vocal and sometimes sounds like an alien. He is soothed by meditation music. About a year ago Cheetoh ingested a piece of a toy and had to have emergency surgery and they found he had HCM (a small hole in his heart) and that he was in heart and renal failure. But with the help of amazing surgeons, he survived and is back in great health. However, HCM is lifelong. Though, the vets said he is doing great and won’t necessarily ever have symptoms of it again or have any issues, it is a possibility - Please have a pet-proofed home as he will try to eat or drink anything.
He needs a lot of love and attention and space to run around and I now work full time and live in a small apartment and don’t have the energy to give him the playtime and love that he needs.
Also, he is neutered. We are located in Houston, TX. His rehoming fee is $500 and I will provide his favorite treats, food, and toys.

Indy is a gorgeous 3.5 year old neutered F2 silver savannah cat. He is incredibly affectionate and would make a perfect companion kitty. Indy has lost his way with litter training but the current owners are confident he will find his way again if the new owners are able to adhere to some strict practices such as refilling the litter box and scrubbing it weekly, purchasing wheat litter, and a sprinkle of patience.

Mandatory for new owners: 1) an owner who has current or former experience with savannah cats. The current owners are insistent that indy’s new home is not a first time savannah owner. 2) an owner who is serious about providing a forever home for Indy. We don’t want him to be “passed around.”��

Other pets: Indy would acclimate in a new home more quickly if there aren’t any dogs or other cats. The ideal new owner would ideally have no other cats or dogs or perhaps another cat that has a “chill�� personality. No “alphas�� or aggressive types.

Attention: Indy wants as much time with his humans as possible. He will follow you everywhere in the house and hop up in your lap. The ideal home will frequently have someone home. Indy thinks of humans as his emotional support animals and will not do well with owners who travel often or have irregular schedules. If fact, this is the reason his current owners are adopting him out. It breaks their hearts but their professions require them to travel too much and have inconsistent schedules for Indy and feel this is the main contribution to his struggles with the litter box.

TICA registered: Indy is a TICA registered F2 male and current on all vaccines.

Harness: Indy wants to be wherever his humans are! He will accompany you on walks outside and a harness is actually not necessary because he’s always so close to you. But would happily wear a harness for his safety.

Artemis is a friendly and affectionate Savannah cat, she likes to sit on your lap at night and cuddle. Of course that is after a lot of playtime. She has a lot of energy and needs to be around people and animals. Artemis gets along with cats and dogs as long as they are confident and willing to play with her. She has no fear and will try to play with both small and large dogs. Artemis does not get along with two of our cats, because one is timid and the other is older. She gets along with the third cat who is more confident and can match her play level. She is not completely litter box trained, she sometimes will go on carpets and throw rugs. She uses the litter box most of the time. I would recommend a home without carpets. Artemis needs a home with more activity and a family that has the time to give her their full attention. I believe for the right family she will make a wonderful pet.

Penny (F1) and Bella (F2) have grown up together and I am hoping to find a home that can take both of them. Both are spayed, 8 year old Savannahs that remain active, curious and playful. They are opposites in many ways.

Penny is large and weighs about 18 lbs. She loves attention from everyone including strangers. Penny is very smart and loving. She has no behavior or health issues. Penny loves when people visit and is not shy. She will quickly adjust to her new home.

Bella is much smaller and weighs about 10 lbs. She loves attention but its definitely on her terms. Bella does not like to be picked up and held. She will follow you around the house, jump on the countertop to get you to pet her or crawl into your lap when you are sitting on the couch. She is shy and prefers to hide when strangers come over. Its my guess that she may take some time to adjust to her new home and should be adopted by someone who is patient and allows her time to adjust.  She has no behavior or health issues.

Penny tends to be protective of Bella in a good way. Neither has been around dogs so I can't speak to how they would do in a house with dogs. They have gotten along with other cats. Penny is good with kids. Bella is good with kids as long as they don't try to pick her up. If picked up, she may scratch to get away.

Both are amazing cats and its with much sadness that I have to consider rehoming them but my life situation has changed and I am now moving out of the country. I would consider shipping and would adjust the adoption fee to cover some of the shipping. I am asking for an adoption fee of $400 for both. I will only consider a home that is willing to take both.

[Loving 2 Year-Old F2 Rehome]

My husband and I have a beautiful and friendly F2 Savannah named Archer.

He’s two years old and we’ve had him for the last year. We paid $7,500 for him from a breeder in Northern California.

He has diarrhea issues that my husband and I have paid thousands of dollars to try to find solutions for. We’ve done all the GI tests the doctors have told us to and tried several diets and probiotics with consistency and documentation, but have not found a long-term solution.

We work from home in Irvine, California and we’re very attentive to him, but haven’t been able to fix his diarrhea. It’s become very burdensome and stressful on us.

We know that whoever takes him will need to figure out his dietary issues. After speaking with other Savannah cat owners, it seems that it might be solved with antibiotics.

Additionally, he has Calicivirus, which causes him to have sneeze attacks sometimes. They can happen a few times a day in the wintertime, when it’s cold and dry. But, in the spring and summer, they only happen a few times a month - sometimes not at all.

I know some of you may recommend we contact / give him back to the breeder. We bought an F3 from the same breeder, and unfortunately it passed away after 4 months from FIP.

We don’t believe that sending him back to the breeder is a good option, because the breeder has proven himself to be a little out there and not take the best care of his cats.

We are asking a rehoming adoption fee of $450. We’d like to rehome him as soon as possible.

Here’s a little more about Archer:

- He comes to his name.

- He’s harness/leash trained and has gone on hikes and walks with us and dogs!

- He’s very loving toward other cats and animals. We have 2 other cats, a domestic shorthair and a Bengal.

- He has never scratched or attacked anyone. He head-butts and licks to give love, even to people he meets for the first time.

- He doesn’t destroy furniture or ever exhibit aggressive behavior.

- He is neutered.

Aside from his diarrhea and sneezing, he is genuinely a perfect f2 savannah cat. We are heartbroken to be in this position but have exhausted all avenues.

In pains me to even post this message and it's taken me over four years to get to this point but I've sort of tried everything. Winston is a 10 year old beautiful F3 male. I bought him from the breeder when he was 1 yr old and have raised him ever since. Since moving into a new house he developed a spraying problem. As near as everyone (vets, behavioralists, communicators) can tell is it's caused by three things: 1) there are male cats outside and he's marking 2) he really wants/needs to be outside 3) he is understimulated.

Winston is probably the smartest and most determined cat I've ever owned. He's a little chatty in the morning but sleeps most of the day. Then he wakes up around 5 and is always on the move till bedtime. He's incredibly curious, friendly to everyone he meets (I've been hosting Airbnb for close to 10 years and he's friendly to all my guests, kids, etc.). I have an older siamese and they get along great - although he wants to play more than she does. He plays a little rough (hides and jumps on her but never bites or injurs) and I think he would do wonderful with a younger cat. BUT...he does NOT do well at all with dogs. He's very afraid of ALL dogs.

He's protective and sleeps at my feet every night. Sometimes he likes to crawl under the covers. He's loves someone to pat his butt...like every day for at least 5 minutes. lol Sometimes he likes to curl up in a chair with you but mostly he just visits and then goes about his business. And while he's very friendly he doesn't like to be picked up or restrained. He free feeds Iams Adult dry food and never over eats. He doesn't really do treats but does like cheese and turkey. He uses the litter box well but does it cleaned once every day...or two.

He came from a very healthy breeder in Southern Missouri and I have all his vet records. He has never been ill and has no health problems. He has all his claws but doesn't ruin furniture. He does use a scratch pole occasionally but prefers to scratch on the straw door map.

Winston an absolutely amazing animal that I will be heartbroken to part with but he's just not comfortable in this house and needs more attention and space than I can offer.

In my opinion, here's the best possible situation for Winston:

A location where he can be outside and get more exercise. Possibly an apartment without access to outside male cats. If the latter, he will need lots of stimulation and play.
A family (and even better a kid) that can give him even more attention (I live alone and travel).
A family with a younger cat would be wonderful. He loves to play nice and also groom my older cat.
A location with NO dogs.

$200 adoption fee.

It makes me sad to have to look for a home for Lila. I've known it for some time, but had hoped that spaying would help enough to make our household work. I've come to realize that this hasn't helped, and it isn't fair to Lila, nor to a couple of our other cats.

Lila is an amazing Savannah, she was a Regional Winner as a kitten and a Triple Grand Champion in the two adult shows she went to before my pregnancy illness meant we retired from shows for some time. She's engaging and funny and playful, she has a lot of energy and plays with abandon. She is hard on Da Bird. She prefers interactive toys. She will jump up to your hand for petting, she will snuggle on your feet at night. She can be vocal, especially if she wants food or has some complaint about lack of attention.

The problem we have here is that she is also needy, insecure and jealous of other cats. I cannot rehome her sister because of a chronic health condition, and she makes her life difficult because she is intensely jealous of the attention her sister gets (or any other cat). She does live peacefully with two of my cats, one is a very chill male and the other is a nonreactive female cat. I believe that she might live happily with one other cat but preferably an easygoing male cat, but would be a great only cat if you were home sufficiently. She would be fine with a dog, we had one for much of her life. She is accustomed to small children (I have a 2 and 5 year old) but is not keen on their rougher handling techniques so would probably prefer older children that know how to wield Da Bird or the Cat Catcher for her.

Lila prefers a raw food diet, adores chicken drumsticks, but is also obsessed currently with Feline Natural freeze dried diet, and will eat Earthborn Holistics chicken canned food (midnight snack currently). Her litterbox habits are pristine, she currently has pine pellet litter but will use any clean litterbox (traveling to shows makes for adaptability!). She has also been trained to a walking jacket but has not been out on the leash for some time.

Jax is a very sweet cat who loves to be around his people at all times. As he’s gotten older, he’s become less tolerant of the other pets in the household taking “his�� people, so he needs to go to a home with no other pets, or maybe one female cat. The vet tried various anti-anxiety drugs with little effect, so this is non-negotiable.

He does enjoy a casual stroll on a leash in a car-free environment. His harness will come with him.

He will fetch plush mice as well as any dog. Beware the chicken on the counter- he is very sneaky :)

He’s a snuggler and will hop in your lap as soon as you sit down, but doesn’t love being “held.�� He’s not been around young kids, except when my friends 3 year old comes over, and he won’t come out from under the bed. I’m sure with older, respectful kids he would do fine.

I would like to do a home visit if possible, and I would like to be able to call your vet for a reference. I’m rehoming him because it’s what’s in his best interest, and I want to make sure he gets the best care.

She is very nervous around other animals, but when comfortable plays, lap sits, and chats with you. Abasi does avoid children and takes a while to warm up to adults. She loves to follow you around and investigate any space you are in at the moment. She will bring you a toy when she’s ready to play! The markings are gorgeous on this petite, long bodied girl with brown spots, black bottomed paws, black lips, and liner around the eyes; beautiful green eyes!

Bocephus (Bo) is a 3 year old F3 Savannah neutered male. He is very affectionate and has a personality of his own, not afraid of the vacuum and tends to investigate loud noises instead of running from them. We built him a catio - which he uses a lot to watch the birds and people in the backyard. He has had minimal exposure to dogs and small children. He is fine as long as they are playing nicely with him. When the dog stopped chasing him, he went searching for the dog. He never used his claws when playing with the children. He does have a slight spraying problem - despite being neutered at about 5 months old. We have a 13 year old female Bengal - he likes to play a lot more than she does. They get along ok, fight more than they cuddle, but they will occasionally cuddle and groom each other. He uses the litter box just fine about 90% of the time. So I would recommend him being an only cat, but he may do fine with another cat and it may just be our house that he's spraying in. I would like him to go someone that is experienced dealing with this breed or at least someone that works in the veterinary field. I live near Alpine, Ca (91901) and would like to meet and view his new home before he is placed - so I am requesting the home be within a 100 mile radius of zip code 91901. I am asking a re-homing fee of $250 so that I know the person that adopts him is invested and will take good care of him. Please message me for more details, as I do have a questionnaire. Tiki is a very sweet, smart Savannah cat. She loves to sit on your lap and cuddle (she doesn't really like to be picked up though). She will follow us from room to room and come sit wherever we are. She will meow at you when she's hungry, and will sometimes try to trick one of us into feeding her again when someone else has already fed her (lol, she's very smart). She loves to play, especially with pointer lasers. We love her very much and it is difficult to be giving her up.

We are moving at the end of this month and are unable to take her with us to our new home. Also, unfortunately, Tiki has been passed around from two other homes before us. When we contacted the two previous owners, we were told different reasons for why they were putting her up for adoption. The first owner said that she had two other Savannah cats, and the owner was also having health problems, therefore she had to give up Tiki (who was originally named Tuppence). The next owner said she had never had a cat before and realized she was allergic to cats. Then we stepped in and adopted Tiki in August of 2014. However, we have come to realize that the most likely reason Tiki was put up for adoption was because she occasionally poops on carpets. In our first apartment home, we had an outdoor space where she could be in, and the problem wasn't that bad. It happened about once a month. For the past year we have been in a new apartment with all hard wood floors. We did have some bathroom mats and areas rugs, and that is where she would occasionally potty on (we have only found poop on rugs, she seems to always pee in her litter box). The frequency is about once a week. I think if she had an safe outdoor space to daily go out into this would help a lot. I did some research on the issue and found an article that stated that most rugs/carpet have a plastic coating on the bottom that some cats find attractive...

We wanted to be very open with her issue, because we want her to find her forever home. Like mentioned earlier, she is a very sweet cat and doesn't deserve to be passed around. However, I have two little children, one who is a crawler, so I think best solution is to provide Tiki with a home equipped for her, preferably with a safe outdoor space.

Tiki has been on a strict diet since she was first adopted by her original owner which we have continued. Her diets includes:

1/2 canned tuna or salmon (food-grade tuna not cat-food kind) (given in the morning)

Our daughter has been diagnosed with cat allergies causing her to have daily issues with severe sinus and nasal congestion, conjunctivitis, and now trouble sleeping. I have had both my Savannahs since they were kittens, before getting married and starting a family. It is a very difficult decision to re-home them, but we feel that it is necessary given our daughter's allergies. We are moving the end of this month and ideally would like to find them a new home before we move so there is less stress for them.

We have Dakarai, F2B, neutered male Savannah, born 1/19/2010. He is a big boy with lots of personality. He can be very sweet at times, but sometimes gets too rough if you don't watch him. He has all his claws. He loves to play (laser, feather wands, other toys, and likes to be chased). He likes to play with water and knows how to flush toilets and open doors including dead bolts. He does not like to be picked up or cuddled, but will lay next to you and likes to be scratched/petted. He can have attitude, especially with new people. He will act friendly with guests, but sometimes will try to get in their face and slap them. He has started to mellow in the last year and is getting better about new people etiquette. A home with Savannah cat experience would be preferred. He has a sensitive stomach, so we try not to change his food. He is good with cat friendly dogs. He is accepting of very young kittens, but will become very aggressive with older kittens and other adult cats. He will stalk, chase, growl/hiss, swat, bite, and corner other cats. He cannot go to home that currently has cats. He is unpredictable with children, so only homes with older children will be considered. Shipping is NOT an option. You must be willing to drive and pick him up. He does not travel well without being giving something to reduce stress. I have had good luck with Zylkene (a natural product) for car rides.

We have his half sister, Ahsoka, a spayed female, F3C Savannah born 6/27/2011. She is very attached to Dakarai. She has all her claws. She is very quiet and shy. She does not like to be picked up, but will cuddle with you once she gets to know you. She likes high perches. She likes running water and will play in the toilet if the seat is left up. She is not as playful as her brother, but does enjoy feather wands and the laser pointer. She will urinate inappropriately when stressed (in bath tubs and sinks), but otherwise has good letterbox habits. She is okay with cat friendly dogs, but would prefer a home without dogs. She is okay with very young kittens, but is not good with older kittens of adult cats. She will stalk, chase, growl/hiss, and corner other cats. She cannot go to home that currently has cats. She would be okay with older children. Shipping is NOT an option. You must be willing to drive and pick her up. She does travel in the car ok.

They are a bonded pair and MUST stay together. There is a re-homing fee of $400 for both of them. They are not free cats and a good home is a must.
