Skip,
You can drive west on Creed Rd. and park your car where it crosses the railroad tracks and see the wye. It is a short distance north of the crossing.

I'm not sure if the picture will come through the Group... or
not. Attached to this reply is an aerial photo of the SN going
toward the Travis AFB runways, from the original east wye; that
although the wye is long gone, the earth work still shows up
from the sky.

Hi, Skpp,
The new alignment from Dosier north of Travis AFB to avoid runways was built in 1947. This track is now owned by WRM.

Hello everyone, still here and that's good news.
If you use Google Earth view of the SN line north
of the WRM and Lambie Road, you can still pick out
the original ROA wye, the north-west stub leading
off directly toward the Airbase front gate area, that
would have originally been direct through the runway
areas.
There was some past SN Group talk about the rail size
being less than desired for certain heavy traffic going
in to the base. That's where the SP was reportedly tasked
to bring in the Walters Road going East stub.
The interesting tidbit about Bruce's post was the mention
of the branch being built in 1930. Anyone know when
the last new SN row way was constructed? I was under the
impression all the SN row was built well before 1930.
cheers,
skipp
