34-2 Targa Propane Conversion
Good morning, all.??
?
I've done a forum search for a propane conversion on a 34-2 Targa, but haven't found a thread I thought I'd seen before.? Can anyone confirm that 6 pound tanks will fit in the lockers in a 34-2 Targa? I've found some comments on the net suggesting that they will, but no photos.

开云体育Justin, I did the conversion to propane last year. I now have two 6# aluminum cylinders in the locker. The only modification to the locker was a ventilated false bottom. These cylinders are shorter, so the false bottom makes them easier to reach. It also keeps them from sitting in a pool of water that sometimes collects at the bottom of the locker. 开云体育The 34 after-cabin has a vertical locker. Thus, they are vertical tanks. It made that part of the conversion process easier. Scott On Apr 23, 2025, at 1:01?PM, Jeff Bartlett via groups.io <Jhbartlett@...> wrote:

Jeff, vertical stored vertically.? On the Targas the CNG locker was configured differently.? They're in the aft/port locker, in a near vertical configuration. On Wed, Apr 23, 2025 at 1:01?PM Jeff Bartlett via <Jhbartlett=[email protected]> wrote:
