echolink and dtmf issues
I had to reinstall ASL 3.0 and am able to get the allstar node with a good connection to the allstar server.
There are two areas I am having issues with 1) Where do I test my DTMF settings? When I do a aster cli I see multiple lines scroing. UNable to connect to another allstar node 2) Echolink with ASL 2.0 was no problem on setting up. It just that ASL 3.0 I am not connecting to the echolink servers. I have verify node number and echolink password. 3) Also the COS LED is not working. For me to see the text configuration file I had to turn syntax off. K6DLC |

Re: Supermon, lost password.
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Larry, As you had indicated you're running Supermon, I'll assume that you're running HamVoIP? Given this assumption, log into your HamVoIP node via SSH as root. Hopefully you still have these details handy. If you've not disabled the menu on login, navigate to option 9 for a BASH shell and press enter.
Type: cd /srv/http/supermon and hit enter
Then type cat .htpasswd and hit enter. It will show a word of legible text, followed by some gibberish characters. The legible text is your username, and the gibberish is the encrypted password. While the encrypted password is useless to you now, the correct username will be needed to perform the next step. Type: htpasswd .htpasswd <username> Replace <username> with the one you got from the previous cat command. It will ask you for a new password. Enter one, then hit enter. It will ask you to confirm it. Do that and hit enter again. Your password has been reset.
Try logging into Supermon. If it works, all is well, and you can close the terminal by pressint CTRL+d and hitting exit on the menu. If it does not work, try repeating the htpasswd command above and
try a different password. I cna't remember off-hand right now the
limitations of the htpasswd command in what can be used for a
password.

Supermon, lost password.
Hello All!
?
I recently had a hard drive 'crash' (SSD). I had saved what I "thought" was sufficient data to restore files, programs, passwords, etc. Having slowly gotten most of what I want/need, I tried to login to Supermon. I got the "Login failed" response. "Someone" told me the 'default' login user name is "admin", which I used. Apparently I have forgotten my Supermon login password and I am unable to find it, ANYWHERE. There appears to be no "Forgot your password" option, as there is for virtually every other web site, program, etc ON THE PLANET!
?
In any case, I am 'pleading' with anyone who can help and/or steer me in the right direction. I am hoping I do NOT have to completely re-install/configure my Raspberry Pi.
?
Thanks and 73,
Larry? -? K7LRB

Re: Just installed shari node. Issues with dtmf codes
You are correct.? In a SHARI node, the transmit (TX) audio comes from pin 30 of the CM108B (Line Out Left or LOL).? This is commonly called Transmit A Level, TXA or TX-A.?
?
Pin 32 - Line Out Right (LOR) commonly called Transmit B Level, TXB or TX-B? is not connected to anything.

Re: Cannot accept incoming connection
Two nodes on the same LAN behind a router usually will not connect unless the router has "hairpin" capability.
