The balance slider on the 2100 and 2100L are identical, both will work.
The balance slider on other SAE Preamps such as the Mark 30 and 2900
will work fine, the shaft is just a little shorter. Sorry I can’t help locate one.
You might find a SAE preamp on EBAY selling cheep for parts.

Hi SAE friends,
I'm looking hard for a balance pot for my 2100L.
The metallic axle on the one the knob of the slider comes is broken.
IF any of you would have one, even out of use, just for me to take the metallic axle out for me to fix mine. I would highly appreciate your help.
