Good Afternoon! We have taken down our 441.8125 repeater in Live Oak temporarily as we are having the duplexers re-tuned. Our YSF is back up and going through 442.750 N8IQT in N. Bexar county. On Thursday, May 15th, our 442.750 will be down as we are taking those duplexers to be retuned as well. We are traveling to Waco and back in the same day, so we hope to have these both back on the air by Friday morning. New cables were ordered for: 441.8125 - Moving to New Braunfels 444.900 - New repeater in San Antonio area Our duplexers and new cables will be tuned together to obtain maximum Db rejection and optimize transmit and receive capabilities. 2 commercial antennas were ordered and we expect to receive them on or before June 1st. The timeline is to have both of these repeaters relocated and on the air is in the month of June! We will keep you posted as work with our contractor to get an exact on the air date! This is very exciting for us here at SADRC and our team has been working on this project for over 1 year. Hello, I have temporarily taken down 442.750 and am testing duplexers on 444.300. The cables need to be cut to length therefore only seeing 30 watts. The duplexers will require some minor retuning. Please call out with a signal check on 444.300 PL114.8 for critical FM reports or digital and we can switch to FM so I can hear the signal. It is connected to SADRC. New Location This repeater will go the air in June and will be located at 281 and TPC Parkway. The antenna will only be 50 feet but the elevation at this site is 1206 asl. Total asl - 1256 It’s currently operating at my home in North Bexar county. If in range, please give it a try. We will require some work but I need to know how well it’s performing prior to sending out for a slight retune. The event will test two-way communications between military stations and amateur radio operators as authorized by the Federal Communications Commission in Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations 47 CFR 97.111. The test provides opportunities, and challenges, for operators to test their individual technical skills in a controlled scenario that will not impact public or private communications. The annual DOD message will be transmitted via RTTY on 14667.0 kHz at 1400 and 2000 UTC. Military stations will transmit on selected military frequencies and announce the specific amateur radio service frequencies that will be monitored. All scheduled times will be in UTC, and all scheduled transmissions will be upper sideband (USB), unless otherwise noted.
