? The SwapNet Newsletter will remain a one-way “bulletin” style email with the same .pdf enclosure and (relatively) high signal-to-noise ratio… ?:0)
? I’m sure there will be issues but hope they will be few, addressable and surmountable. ?

? The on-air SwapNet and resultant Newsletter has been a proud Austin tradition and has a rich history.
? The "net" started around 1974 with some young upstarts who supported *gasp* VHF Repeater operations. ?
It’s been held on the AARC Flagship station 146.940 all this time. ?
? The newsletter had its beginnings with on-air VHF AX-25 Packet Bulletin Boards and early dial-up BBS's.
It has morphed from a simple text summary of the "Haves & Wants" lists to include a fairly exhaustive detailing of local and the occasional non-local Ham Radio swapmeets, conventions and activities. ?
If you haven't looked at it in a while, please give it a thorough review and let me know if it needs polishing! :0)
