Hey guys. Good morning. Is anyone in the group doing anything with Meshtastic yet? I have some hardware to start this project and I am looking forward advice on how to get started. I have some stuff coming today who he will also be the beginning of putting a node/repeater here in Live Oak.

I have several Meshtastic nodes that connect to the AustinMesh.org mesh here in Austin. My son has a few as well and we are able to exchange messages across the mesh.? I'm preparing a solar node to mount on my chimney. There is a Discord server as well.

I have a TDeck and I had 3d-printed a case for it.? It works well. I believe there are plans to release a version of the firmware with an improved user interface, but not sure what the release date will be.

I have a node and a repeater about 2 miles away from my house here in Seguin and there's been zero activity since I put them into service in June.? I'm about ready to sell them.? It just doesn't seem to get enough activity here to make it worth while.
