Lafayette Radio and Allied/Radio Shack Catalogs from the 1930's - Enjoy!

I loved all forms of radio since I was a kid in the late 1960¡¯s early 70¡¯s. ??Two of my favorite distributors/manufacturers were Lafayette Radio and Allied Radio that later changed it¡¯s name to Radio Shack.?? I just went down memory lane as I found two major links for these distributors from the early 1930¡¯s on.? I owned several high end Stereo receivers, Quadraphonic, turntables, equalizers, speakers, ham radio, and short wave receivers, etc.? ? Honestly, these were some of my fondest memories as an electronic enthusiast. ?At age 5, I had my 1st Allied CB Transceiver along with a CW Key (didn¡¯t transmit but made sound)? Some of these basic experiences in life carried my career in Purchasing Electronic components or engineered product for Fortune 100 companies. ? I guarantee you will enjoy reviewing some of these old catalogs.? Technology has advanced but in my humbled opinion some of the older technologies including tubes still sounded better with full fidelity than today¡¯s modern equipment. ??Many of you go back into the 60¡¯s and predate my experiences.? These are just two of the many that I loved.? We could spend an entire net on Heath Kit, Collins Radio etc.? I hope this sparks a flame for the love of electronics.? ?
