I just posted this to the FB S1 group, but I figured I'd send it out here too.
My S1 needs a brake master cylinder. The shop I have it at tried to rebuild it, but they said it was too far gone. They have one on order from Lotus Bits, but it's taking an eternity for it to get shipped here to Upstate NY. Ordinarily I would sit tight and wait, but I leave for Florida on 10/27 and I need to get it safely stowed away for the winter. Does anyone have any alternatives out there? I need a miracle...

Try these guys. They are amazing.? They do work for classic cars for all over the world.

Do any of the usual suspects have rebuild master cylinders available (Dave Bean, JAE, RD Enterprise, even SJ can get you one in a few days). ? Stop in and say “Hay”. I’m in Orlando. ? Bill ?

Give John Stuart a call. Explain your situation. Send him pictures of the brake booster. They take the brake booster apart , paint the shell, make a new diaphragm. They are the BEST.

I actually did give them a call based on an early reply to this.? They're a few hours away from me, so if nothing better comes up I might just drive it up there and see where they can get with it.
