Oil Switch, Federal Spec

Hello,

Is the pressure set point known for the oil switch located on the gallery take-off housing on the block? I'm trying a single wire alternator on my S2 so no path for current through the "Ignition" warning lamp. Figure I could feed through an NC pressure switch if the set point isn't too high, would serve to warn if ignition on, engine off.

Cheers
Steve?

Of course the question is moot if the switch is of the normally open type.

Turns out the swicth is normally open, won't serve in this case.

You need to be more receptive. If it identifies as NO, you have to learn to accept that¡..

?

{I¡¯m sorry. I can¡¯t say that with a straight face¡}? ?

Virus-free.

To quote one of many non-PC jokes made by a hockey buddy, A "No" is just a pre-unconcious "Yes".

Yikes.?
