SP Depot at NMRA PCR Convention

In the vein of "Show S Scale out there in the world" I entered this depot in the model contest. It is scratch-built, from drawings I made. Parts are laser cut or 3D printed. Some of the detail parts were downloads from Thingiverse, some I created in Fusion 360. One you might be interested in is the woman in the waiting room, which I created in DAZ Studio and then printed. The station agent is also done the same way, but the photo only shows him from the back.

Very Nice.? I know this depot - 2 towns down the hill. ? Will you have this model at O/S West, contest or on the layout?

Michael,

Thanks for sharing these additional photos of your beautiful model!? I'll sound like a broken record here but if you have a few 'under construction photos' I think this has potential to be an article in RMC or MR.? It shows how much detail you can put in a 1:64 model!? Of course, the use of laser-cut and 3D parts also shows that the most contemporary modeling techniques are being used in S.
?
At a minimum, you should write a few paragraphs about the build and submit that and these photos for DISPATCH.? ?
?
Should you want to pursue publishing, let me know if I can be of help.

Apparently only shows two pictures in digest mode. There are more. If you are in digest mode, click on View/Reply Online, then View all x Messages at the bottom, then on my original post to see all the photos. I also previously found that in digest mode you can only view the pics small sized. Again, to see the full size, click on View/Reply Online, and if it's a really large photo, you may click on the photo.

I'm glad you posted this, as I could only see the two outside pics, which were lovely, but the inside pics blew me away--WOW! Great modelling!
