NYA Timeline Concert - Wiltern 3-23-1999 - MP3

Straight from stream recording in MP3 format via Adobe Audition. No remastering, fading or breaking into tracks.

Powderfinger is incomplete as it is on the stream. I thought I had the show in my bootleg collection but seems I only had 3/22/99 or else I'd have included Powderfinger for completeness.

Should be good enough til Ron makes a better version at least.

Yeah, I’ll record it too and provide FLACs in due course.

Thanks Ron and Ron. Your efforts to record and share these streams is most appreciated.

19 minutes and 30 seconds in you can almost feel the smiles in the audience as
he starts a mournful solo version of "Cortez the Killer" on guitar and harmonica.
Our ancient ancestors used to pile stones/boulders up in tribute to the fallen
and this song is very much like that as a lyrical "cairn." ?

Was just reading about "Florentine Codex" that tells the story of Mexico
from the Spanish who were the victors on the left side of the page
but each page is written in two columns with the conquered getting
their say in the history on the right side of the page.? The Spanish thought
the right side was a perfect copy of the left side of the page but it
wasn't.?

Very interesting unique and profound history lesson...

Just listening to this for the first time and noticed that Powderfinger fades early - and that there's a bunch of tracks missing from the full
so I appreciate that being called out here. Just want to check that the best Timeline version we have shared here is just the 13 tracks? It's really good! Nice to have a 1999 show in such quality.?

The Timeline Concert's details on NYA?

has the same setlist as Sugar Mountain

Stringy

Try this , it is flac and it is all there . I found it in this group? ... ?

Thanks Rob, and Robert, this was super helpful (and what's wrong with my brain? 13 tracks was just for disc 2!!!!)
