New Timeline concert - Glastonbury June 2009

Hi all,
I noticed this is up as first day timeline concert so playing it now. ?Thought I’d pass on the news in case folks don’t check NYA every day.
?
Didnt go to Glastonbury myself but was at the warmup in Nottingham a few days.
?
Cheers
George

I have it recorded along with the Gilleys Rodeo show. I'll post them as FLAC files in due course.
Ron

You're the best Ron! Much appreciated and looking forward to it.?
I did attend the Antwerp concert a little bit earlier in the tour and that was a great experience. I sure hope the rumors are true that Neil is coming over to Europe!
?
All the best, Rogier

So here is my 'remaster' of the new Glastonbury 2009 Timeline concert as a set of 16 FLAC files. The audience sections at the beginning and end have been shortened a little and the acoustic section has been brought up to the same level as the two electric sections so that you don't have to reach for the volume knob. A couple of clunky noises of guitars being plugged in have been removed too.

I read some comments on Facebook that some people thought the sound quality was maybe not as good as it could be ? Sounds OK to me TBH. I do however think it's a shame that a full video version isn't available...the BBC only showed 5 tracks out of the 16 played....Words, Needle, Get Behind the Wheel, RITFW and A Day In The Life. Maybe they wanted too much money for the rest of it, who knows?

Anyway, enjoy, I'll post the Gilleys Rodeo TC as and when it's all done.

Ron?

PS if you feel like spending some money on something physical, I have my third Iain Matthews box set coming out on Cherry Red Records next Friday December 6th - The Vertigo Years - 5CDs including a newly compiled live album of previously unreleased material, featuring Iain with, among others, Richard Thompson, Andy Roberts, Jim Fogarty, Bradley Kopp, Egbert Derix and BJ Baartmans.

Thanks very much Ron!

What were the other two Iain Matthews volumes? I think I bought Vol 2.

Best.
Andreas

They were The Rockburgh Years and Plainsong:Following Amelia…..both 6-CD, both on Cherry Red. There are also seven live albums on Spotify and the other digital platforms also via Cherry Red.
