I'm having trouble getting Eac running on my new Dell. I get the message
"no audio cd in drive" when I try to extract tracks. Discs are
recognized in all other programs. Any help is greatly appreciated.
It's my experience that sometimes you have to wait a while (a minute or so)
before EAC actually wakes up and spots the CD, but after that there's no
problem (BTW: I use Win95 OSR2).

Dave,
What might be happening is EAC is looking at the wrong disc
player/device.
Near the top-left, [on my version anyways] there is a select box with a
dropdown list that includes all your CD drives [I have a regular
CDReader and a CWWriter]. There is 2 in my list.
