FA Fashion report

The first note I want to make is that Chuck Naughton and I showed up looking
like Bobbsy twins...gray "Bridge 2001" tees and khaki shorts...and no, we did
NOT call each other this morning to plan it. The rest of the rust contingent
was suitably attired, with "More Barn!" well represented (the new bucket
looks terrific!)

On the whole, the performers costuming was rather ho-hum. One bright spot was
Kid Rock's belt buckle (yes, I noticed).....a rhinestone American flag.

Willie wore his hair loose, and it reached to his waist....sigh. He chose to
wear a plain black tee which showedcased his tresses quite nicely.

Neil....Mr. Young took the stage sporting the red "Stop Factory Farms"
t-shirt, comfortable looking jeans, what appeared to be hard-soled boots, and
NO HAT. That adorable growing bald spot showed in all it's glory, and his
remaining hair was slightly longer than chin length, but neat and trim. No
facial hair was apparent. Neil did don a red and while FA ball cap for the
finale. The biggest disappontment for me in Neil's otherwise fine ensemble
was the noticeable lack of belt dangle.

Oh yeah....I guess there were a couple of women on stage during the day. I
forget what they had on.

Lee Ann Womack - semi-tight blue jeans, a shirt with not enough buttons
open, shades and hair pulled back.
Lee Ann's backup singer - tighter blue jeans, shirt with not enough top
buttons open, bottom buttons open to expose small triangle of tummy, which
had some sort of tatoo.

Gillian Welch - black dress which came to just below knees, cowboy boots.
That girl is WHITE! She's apparently never seen the sun.

Miriam ??? (Mellencamp's violin player) - Tight! blue jeans, shirt tied up
to expose plenty o' belly!
Mrs. Mellencamp - Damn! Didn't see her anywhere.

Just to set the record straight, I wasn't REALLY paying that much
attention....
