I guess in part these work as whole albums. I'm listening alot to
Trans (thanks to the discipline of following AOTW) but it doesn't
work as a whole. By the same token, Everyone's Rockin does work as a
complete album but it doesn't do much for me!
PS Life is the worst album of neil's solo career, IMHO. Life-less!
MidEast Vacation is the sole track worth going back to. Too Lonely is
the worst song, ever- its plain embarrassing. Inca Queen kind of
meanders and wafts along without going anywhere or really taking off.
When your lonely heart breaks is a song i try to like, but at the end
of the day its music by numbers that is all too reminiscient of the
dreaded 80s power ballads. Cryin Eyes - as a big Neil fan i think i
can summons up in my memory most of the words to most of his songs,
officially released or otherwise, but this one is so forgettable,
I've forgotten it already! OK - rant over!
