Newbie's question #26: Why are the "missing 6" still missing?

Why does the "missing six" where never released on cd? Was it due to
Neil Young's personal request (maybe he dislikes the albums??
althougn Time Fades Away and Hawks & Doves are gems, IMHO) or maybe
some weird copyright dispute between record companys?

Man, I was just thinking the same thing! I would pay way too much to have ON
THE BEACH on CD.

sound. Of course this didn't stop him OKing all his other albums for
release on CD.

Most likely explanation is - Neil's an awkward old buzzard. Always
was. Always will be.

They'll come out when the Archives are released. In July. 20??.
