Question on the Oceanside Countryside Analog Original Series (AOS) release

Question - are the tracks on the new Oceanside Countryside Analog Original Series (AOS) the same as tracks available in the Archives III?? I know the Oceanside Countryside Archive III has a different track list. I just don't want to purchase something I probably already have that the tracks are scattered around in the archives. The album cover looks to be the same photo and printing which makes it confusing...

Maybe this was a discussion previously and I missed it.

Thanks,

The only differences to the versions on the Archives III disc are that Field of Opportunity doesn't have the Nicolette Larson overdubs - Neil does the backing vocal himself. And The Old Homestead is about 30 seconds shorter with 4 lines of lyrics missing for some reason. Otherwise belived to be identical just with the originally planned track sequence.

Recorded in 1977?Oceanside Countryside?rather confusingly has the same name as CD 4 in last year’s?Archives Vol III?but while they are similar, they’re not exactly the same. The versions of the songs ‘Lost in Space’, ‘Captain Kennedy’ and ‘The Old Homestead’ are the versions that ended up on?Hawks and Doves?(in 1980) while ‘Sail Away’, ‘Goin’ Back’, ‘Human Highway’, ‘It Might Have Been’ and ‘Pocohontas’ are actually the same as on?Archives Vol III. ‘Field of Opportunity’ and ‘Dance Dance Dance’ are slightly different to the versions of?Archives Vol III, because on these versions Young is on backing vocals, rather than Nicolette Larson.

Dance Dance Dance on the V3 version was also just Neil without Nicolette. The Reprise publicity blurb and the review posted above post have that wrong. So the V3 and Standalone OC versions of DDD are the same in that respect. I wrote to Neil to point out that we have no Nicolette version of DDD anywhere but he said I was wrong but I’m not ?.

Otherwise Reprise and the review above are right. Field Of Opportunity is different on the standalone - just Neil, no Nicolette.
