Frank Ferrer is coming to town

He's introduced like this in my local paper:?
?
Since 2006, Frank Ferrer has been the drummer for Guns N' Roses, he has also been a member of The Psychedelic Furs and played with Tool, Gordon Gano of the Violent Femmes, PJ Harvey, Tommy Stinson, Frank Black of The Pixies, Neil Young, Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction and Cheetah Chrome of The Dead Boys.
?
I've been trying hard to find any link between Ferrer and Neil, but ran out with nothing. Does anyone know when their musical interaction may have taken place?

Guns?N' Roses appeared at the Bridge School Benefit in 2012 (see Sugar Mountain).?
Neil played with them on 2012-10-20 the song Don't Let It Bring You Down.

Thank You Peter,
?
I even found it on Youtube ?The date is 10/21.
?
I thought maybe Ferrer had drummed with Neil on some occasion, I didn't think as far that he had been in the band when he did it. I guess it shows the magnitude of respect the name Neil Young has on other performers.?

Yes, that's my video (uploaded shortly after the concert). Not the best video quality (made with an old point-n-shoot photo camera), but the audio is decent. And in case you couldn't tell, it's a static shot of one of the Shoreline video screens. There are a couple of brief closeups of the drummer, near the middle and near the end.
