I'm not refering to covers of the traditional pop songs like 'white
christmas' et al, but original-penned rock songs that make direct or
indirect reference to Christmas. Some tunes come to mind:
Tom Waits - Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis
Joni Mitchell - The River
Neil Young - The Star of Bethlehem
Toby Keith - Christmas Rock
Nerf Herder - I've Got a Boner for Christmas
If we get a dozen more of so like these, it could make a very different
christmas compilation to give to your friends.
