RigExpert Stick XPro Screen

Hi

Is the?RigExpert Stick XPro's screen? readable in direct sunlight? Or is the Stickpro 230 with paper display the only one that can be read? in direct sunlight?

I really struggle with reading the displays on Rigexpert displays without a cover.

The Stick Pro screen is very easy to see in direct sunlight.

From the photo on the RigExpert web site the StickProX display looks to be the same as the StickPro. The specs state it's a TFT as is the StickPro.

There are 5 different screens that you can select on the StickPro, Black/Lime Green, Black/Yellow, White/Blue, White/Red, and White/Orange.

The XPro photo appears to be the White/Blue screen which works well in sunlight.

I have a StickPro as well as an AA-230 Zoom. I use the StickPro for field use.

Another approach to using the Stick versions is to connect from a device such as a phone or tablet that you can see clearly in sunlight using Bluetooth. AntScope 2 works very well for me this way. Plus, I have a record of the data.

Thanks all? for the suggestions and comments.

I have ordered a Xpro. I will report back how it works in direct sunlight. My AA55 zoom? will be retired for in shack use, its just difficult to read in sunlight.

Thanks all, and thanks to Rigexpert for the great products.
