Rigexpert HID Python programming #AA30zero #AA-230-ZOOM

 

Hey now, guys !
My name is Maksym/ UT3UDX , I'm from Kiev

Does anyone can help me with a reading and writing HID interface device like AA230? I have no problem with AA-30 Zero, i'v prepare? a very simple python script for continous meazurement and collecting data from attached G5RV MFJ antenna to Sqlite3 database ( https://gist.github.com/shaposhnikoff/576927d6e4e3ff187740c8e5ff8f1a34)

But i'm also have a couple of 144/430 antennas, which is also can be? measured in this way - but upper level of AA30Zero is only? 30 mHz - it so small. I? have a AA-230 Zoom, but this Zoom does not have? serial interface like Zero, it waz Human Interface Device ( SMDH ) , and i faced with dificcultes to reading and writing to this Zoom230.

A question - does anyone hase a expirience to programming ( or even reading data )? AA230Zoom,or any othes HID device from Rigexpert with any kind of appropriate? Python library ? ( PyUSB , Python HID library, i dont know )
 

the AA-30 Zero will go to 170Mhz with no issues, It can go higher if you modify one of the INF files? just don't remember which one

Pyserial may get you there otherwise need to source a driver or modify a driver (they likely all similar)?
