Thanks, Alex. So I downloaded the software?RigExpert Flash Tool ver_1.5.12.dmg. Clicking on that file brings up the RigExpert Flash Tool.app. When I double click on that a warning dialog box pops up that says: "RigExpert Class Tool.app" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. |

Re: AA-230 Zoom Firmware
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýFrom the point of view of functionality, the AA-230 Zoom
analyzers of the first and second revisions are absolutely
identical.

Most likely, there will not be a new FW, since all bugs have been fixed, all possible functions have been added.Very well, Alex. Do you have a guide on what features the Rev 2 will offer or I may look at an AA-650 ZOOM at some point to get 70 cm coverage. Nice to see the ZOOM becoming the standard of the line. 73, Nate, N0NB |

AA-230 ZOOM BLE Bluetooth reset
#AA-230-ZOOM
#antscope2
Hello,
I have Galaxy A70 phone with Android 10 (but the problem was the same also at Android 9). Antscope 2 from Google Play, last version. Also last FW version on the instrument AA-230 ZOOM BLE. Bluetooth connection to the instrument works ok for a few minutes, then connection drops. And then after reconnect it keeps dropping at a 15 seconds to 30 seconds rate. It is practically impossible to make a measurement and save the results. Also turning ON/OFF of the AA-230 ZOOM does not correct the problem.? Antscope 2 has all the privileges enabled on the phone and no battery saving, it is also allowed to work in the background... Any suggestions on what to do?? Thanks! Dejan |
Re: AntScope2 SWR Scale
SWR scale should have at least one decimal place because it's scaling is not done in a smooth and intuitive way. To have two ore more same?numbers at different lines is unacceptable!?
Please fix those issues because they are very important to properly read the results. Thanks! Dejan |
Antscope2 and NanoVNA-H4 firmware dependent?
#antscope2
OK... Out of the box with Edy555's v0.5.0 firmware, my H4 did communicate with Antscope (without issue). I recently upgraded my H4 firmware to DiSlord 1.0.39 which, while adding features to the device, had the undesired effect of no longer communicating with Antscope2. Actually, let me clarify that... Antscope2 does see and connect to the H4, but when running a scan it does nothing/returns no results. FWIW, reloading Edy555 v0.5.0, the unit was able to again function with Antscope2 It would seem, the ability to use Antscope2 with a NanoVNA depends on what firmware the device is running. Not a big deal (for me), but might help anybody scratching their heads. BTW, I thought I read somewhere that some versions of NanoVNA firmware improved PC connected operations by using binary instead of ASCII over the link.? Perhaps this is the source of the issue?? Don't know, just throwing that out there... |

As I mentioned in your other post, this is a known bug. Please use previous version of antenna Scope 2 software.
