TS 480SAT connections with RPi

 

Team, just purchased a TS480SAT and need to know how to connect to a RPi......the cable needed etc....RPi is ready and loaded with HAM software's.

I have a 480Sat as well... Hands down my favorite HF radio of all time... Definitely share your interest in hooking it up to a Pi.... Have had all of the pieces for while and been too lazy to put it all?together...

Thanks Jonathan....I am sure would be something simple as splitting the data port wires into two audio plugs and then to the souddcard that will be plug into RPi but I want to make sure.

Also, do you have any issue tuning 40m and 60m? I think I need to send radio for service cause those are the only two bands I cant tune nor show output power
