screen issue

Good morning all, I have the Pi 3 Model B using Raspbian version Bullseye. For some reason, my desktop screen has a white line on the left of the screen. It's about 2 inches wide and travels vertically down the monitor. When I restart the Pi the desktop image is full screen but as the restart progresses the white edge appears.
He is what I have tried:
Right-click on the desktop and click on appearance settings. Under desktop layout indicates the centre image on the screen. I have tried all settings but same issue with the white section on the left side of the screen.
Under the menu bar, I have changed the position to the top. The desktop picture is now full screen but not the white section is at the top of the screen and it cuts off the top half of the icons.
In the menu bar setting, I have also changed the size and still have the same issue.
Under defaults, I have changed large, medium and small screens and still have issues with the white-out section of the screen.
At a loss at this moment as to what to check.
Thanks
Mike

Random idea of trying?

sudo raspi-config, to enable legacy GL drivers

Does it happen if you login as another user?

Good morning Sean, I never did try that but in the end I re-formated the SD card and did a clean install.
I only use my setup for Hamclock so no big deal no data per say was lost. All is working great now.

Mike,
I was going to ask you if hamclock was installed among the other questions I could have asked. Did you try uninstalling it before the reinstall??
