Hi,
I'll start by saying that I'm not a technician (and not so young anymore) or an expert on this system where I approached with great interest to be able to use the Hamclock for radio amateurs.
I bought a Raspberry Pi 5 8 GB with a 64 GB SD card. The system works well and I find it very high-performance but when I go to install Hamclock the process runs smoothly but when the installation is finished the icon does not appear and I cannot find a way to start it.
The Hamclock soft is present among the soft but I can't start it. I saw that there is a post where Wayland is mentioned which appears (I understand) already installed in my system.
I don't think it's important (because I also tried on another monitor with the same results), Raspberry Pi 5 is supported by a small 10.1-inch IPS 1920x1200 touch screen monitor.
Can I ask for your help knowing that I'm a beginner?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Mauro,
?
I have the same problem with no icon. I open terminal and just type hamclock and the app starts.?

it would be nice to have an icon. Try that start method and report back.?

Hi, thanks to everyone...
I tried several things and I arrived at this page
Now it works and everything starts well even if I have an image that is not really 100/100 of the monitor but it has an excellent quality. Hamclok is truly a great surprise.
I hope this can be useful to others
