¿ªÔÆÌåÓýA friend recently had an issue with a new Raspberry Pi 4 not displaying on his TV (not a computer monitor).? In his troubleshooting, he found using the HDMI port #1 (the one farthest away from the USB-C power connector) helped a little but would still see a black screen.? By accident, he REMOVED the micro-SD card while the Pi was on and saw the Rpi's video output!? In further troubleshooting, he got things working better when he enabled "hdmi_force_hotplug=1" in the /boot/config.txt file: ?? You also might try out the "hdmi_safe" setting and see if that helps get you something on the TV.? After that, you can work your way back until you determine which setting is required to work on your specific TV. --David KI6ZHD ? On 06/28/2020 11:31 AM, KK4JOW wrote:
My Raspberry Pi 4 doesn't display on one of my tv's. It works on another one, but not the one I want to use. The tv works fine as well. And my google chromecast works with the hdmi input. |
