Vern NJ8L All Messages By This Member #339 I did turn on the radio at 0900EST to test what the band(s) might be active tomorrow. Wasn't too impressed at 15m or 40m but 20m showed promise. Hope to transmit all 25 code groups and get them verified. Need to somehow get a 2nd receiver online to assist in the SWLing code groups. -- NJ8L 13613S Vern

Drew AF2Z All Messages By This Member #341 Vern, It is very nice having a 2nd receiver (or sub rcvr or dual watch) for RG events. I often listen to some other operator while sending my own CQs, pausing to copy his traffic, or jump in myself to answer his CQ. It is loads of fun! Unfortunately, my rx only loop antenna just died.
