Five letter groups just like the traditional way of doing things.

Re: New Scores Reports Format

I think I read your concern, but I'm not going to publish the code group lists, other than by emailing individual contestants as to which groups they copied correctly from other stations, and which of their transmitted groups were confirmed by others. This would perhaps be a slightly useful "aid" during a group-limited event (to see which of your transmitted groups were guaranteed as confirmed and therefore "home safe"), but not otherwise. However, for contestants-- please don't post your own lists of copied or transmitted groups until after scoring has been closed. 73, Drew/AF2Z On Tue, Apr 9, 2024 at 05:10 PM, Dan W9DLN wrote:

New Scores Reports Format
Hi Gang,
Drew, maybe I missed it but I have a concern. I am assuming that the new scoring sheet would be withheld until after the scoring window closes.? I would hope that the old score page method would stay in place until the submission window is closed.? My concern is that we would be publishing the word lists of the participants with the new format. I believe RG is designed for accuracy and honesty.? Those reading this message would probably agree.? If the score data, with word groups listed, is printed before the event is closed me thinks that would open a different window I'd rather not speak about. FWIW, 73, GL... Dan, W9DLN |

Thanks, Quint. This info will also be available as two-column tab separated lists for easy import into a spreadsheet, if anyone wants to do that with their results. It might be interesting if you also know the time and band that each group was transmitted or received, etc. 73, Drew/AF2Z On Mon, Apr 8, 2024 at 03:43 PM, Quint W7CQW wrote:

It's probably something to do with Yahoo.com email filtering. Check the trash and spam folders, not only in your email reader (if you are using one), but also online at your account on the Yahoo.com site. If you can't find the emails I sent to you I can pass your RG12 groups to you via Ron AC2C. Alternatively, if you have an email account with a different provider, try that. 73, Drew/AF2Z On Sat, Apr 6, 2024 at 01:53 PM, Quint W7CQW wrote:

A mystery to me. Had no prob with RG11. If I can't find them, I will participate as a SWL for team Straight Key if SWL is allowed.

I replied to your two emails. Apparently Yahoo mail is not forwarding them to you; perhaps they are in your email account's spam folder. I'll try again now from a different address. If anyone has requested a Tx List for the current event an not received it, pls post a followup here. I usually respond pretty quickly to requests during the day. 73, Drew/AF2Z On Sat, Apr 6, 2024 at 10:40 AM, Quint W7CQW wrote:

Drew,
I have not received my 25 alfa/numerical groups yet. Checked all emails but nada. I do see you have my assignment to team "Straight Key" (trusty old J38 behind a Kenwood TS590SG).
After 3 yrs OTA, eager to start chasing the Senator. A lot to make up for !

Re: Slashed zero Font???
If you use the Thunderbird email client it will display zeros in email messages as slashed if you select Consolas as the Monospace font in the Advanced settings panel. At least, mine does.
