There is a Halliburton facility that got those kind of cars at Seco on the SP north of Bakersfield. The Santa Fe had trackage rights in the SP with the right to serve industries between Oil Junction

That silver car may be carrying drilling mud, which is used in oil wells. So where this train is going there must be an oil field nearby.
