6790/GM firmware for the Z80 version A6A2 ?

Does anyone have? .BIN file for the 1600305 that they can share? This has the slightly better tuning rates than the 304 version I have.? I have become so used to the 1/10/100 Hz tuning rates that going back to the original military specified ones is painful.

Z80?? Isn't it a Fairchild F8 processor?

Michael, the later versions of the A6A2 card indeed used a Z80 processor to replace the obsolete (by then) F8.? It completely imitated the original in function by order of the US military.? I have one in front of me.

The 2 software's for the RS232 card were 1600207 and 1600304, I might still have the files, I will check

Gary, mine has 1600304, which has the original GM tuning rates and LF extension.? I was looking for 1600305 which apparently has different tuning rates.? I suspect that if anyone has Z80 programming knowledge the 304 version could be changed.? But not by me :^)

Thanks,

Dan

Dan,
The 1600305 is software for RA6793A

Thanks Gary for that list.? 1600305 was being offered by Phill for the Z80 version A6A2 board in one of his earlier adverts. I'll stick with my F8 board since that has the 1/10/100 Hz tuning steps firmware which I find much more friendly and pleasant to use.

Regards,

Dan

If Phill is making it all is good and it should work, I am the only one that knows all the software because I have all the master after RACAL gave them to me and I controlled them when I worked there, they dumped the whole HF line at the same time and went to Scope Shield Radios.
