So very Sorry to hear this, Stuart. Do you remember the serial number of the radio and the VIU? I know they are easily removable, but may help more if known by everybody who moves in these circles.73,
Warren

For those of you not on the various FB and WA groups that my Military vehicle Colleagues helped me with on Sunday
On Saturday Night/Sunday Morning, My Lightweight or Airportable Land Rover was attacked and my Racal 2000 'V' was ripped out, by thieves, they removed the control cable and Coax Connector from the front of the VIU, but could not fathom how to disconnect the DC 2 Pin Larger Racal Power plug, so they yanked it away with the DC plug still in situ, leaving pos and Neg/Shield remnants of the cable behind, it was a good job I always switch off the Dist box.
This must have been someone who had visited the VMARS compliment, and seen me talking or demoing the radio, who clearly took a shine to it, relieving me of it in the early hours
The Theft has been logged with Glos Police and I am awaiting a Crime Number from SOC,
Please keep your eyes peeled for a E Bay or Market Place of any other area that Mil radio is offered
There is a Substantial reward offered for information received leading to offenders and or return of Eqpt
This photograph is dated Jun 2023 and luckily that was in my gallery on my Phone
If you can help contact me privately.
Tank you
