Racal TA 940B
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Group
?
I was sorting out in the shack today, I have both the TA 940B and the TA
936 PSU, that accompanies the 940, does anyone have any library pictures of this
setup, in vehicle frame etc, I am not sure actually, what Auto ATU was
designated for the 940B, does anyone have any knowledge?
?
Any help appreciated

Re: prc-319 DMU question
Thanks for that info Alain. I will add a note to that effect on the PRC319 group.

Do the DMHDs come up for sale often? I guess it is more likely now that the Clansman gear is being cleared out... Howard VK4BS alain wrote: Hello folks, |

in fact EMU and DMHD use the same code. So it can works together. The main differnce its that DMHD posses its own modem and could work with radio able to send data. EMU is specially created for 319: the 319 enable data by its internal modem. Hope it help. 73 Alain ----- Original Message -----

Hi

I think you will find that you need the same hardware each end, i.e. a DMHD at each end. I have no info but I suspect the DMHD is not compatible with the EMU. If you are interested in the PRC 319 you may wish to join the PRC319 yahoo group as there are a few files there with good info including user handbooks and FAQs. 73 Howard VK4BS JC Daehler wrote:

Do you mean the DMU or DMHD (Data Message Handling Device) which connects to Audio 2 and uses X Mode? Howard VK4BS JC wrote:

It may be helpful to know they are used on the A13 and A14 military radio - may be others, but I dont recall!
