Both inserts are 300 Ohms nominal impedance although their response curves
are different.
Bear in mind that headphone inserts are normally operated as pairs in
parallel.

Yes of course I meant to say Redifon/MEL and not Plessey, I have the MEL literature, but was hoping one might be in an amateurs hands here in the UK!

Does anybody want Clansman Test Rigs?

30 each Available for collect only in Croydon as carriage will at least
double the cost.

351 and 350 in a carry box
320 in black box
349 in black box



These rigs allow one to operate the set opened up, ie out of its case, for test and maintenance.

All look complete and in good condition as one would expect.

Also a good supply of fully wired 7 pin Audio cables in red cable, which
I presume were actually Ptarmigan cables but fit and work fine with the
loudspeakers. etc.

Hi i am also trying to find a manual please put me on the list if any one might have one, also i have fitted in one of the crystal holders a PC USB programable unit works very well so i can go to any frequencse also i am looking for crystals for the ham bands thanks tony swan M0EUY

Not sure that this is quite a Manpack item, but does anybody have any info on these.

I have two and neither seem to work, so I wonder if I am trying to use them wrongly?

They have Clansman style Audio in and no separate power connection.

MRF-401? You say these are good final transistors for my 921? ok..i will try to find them.. are they readily available??My radio uses a matched set? It would be the answer to a prayer! I will hunt them down unless you hae a source already.

Are the transistors your looking for the finals transistors? If you have ant luck please let me know too.? I have a racal 921 and need a source for good finals too.? i have sent out several emails to no luck.? Im using some commercial transmitter finals now aN elmer put in ?but im pretty dissatisfied.?
